The best way of
and through this week
and all through December
is
To keep Jesus in the Season
Because
He is the Reason for the Season!!
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
And the government shall be upon his shoulder:
And his name shall be called
Wonderful,
Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6)
With all the hustle and bustle and rushing around
that tends to come with this time of
year, don't forget to leave
Jesus as the central theme in all your preparations
for this season of the year.
It is not just another 'holiday' it is remembering that
Jesus came as a newborn baby,
born to Mary and Joseph more than two-thousand years ago.
"But God commended his love toward us,
in that,
While we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
Much more then,
Being now justified by his blood,
We shall be saved from wrath through him."
(Romans 5:8-9)
"For all have sinned,
And come short of the glory of God:"
(Romans 3:23)
He came to die on the cross
for our sins so that we would have
the opportunity to have Eternal Life
through Jesus Christ who shed His blood for us on the Cross.
The most important thing to ask yourself is:
"Do I know where I will spend eternity?"
Christmas is a time to build relationships with our family and friends,
yet,
have we neglected the most important
relationship of all?
Jesus
wants to have a personal relationship with
YOU!!
Are you certain that you have a personal relationship with Jesus?
If not, why not? If not, this Season will
truly be empty, yet filled with the
fast-paced hustle and bustle,
decorating, shopping,
parties, and such.

I'm so glad that you posted this. I certainly enjoyed reading it.
ReplyDeleteI think, sometimes as individuals, we can get too wrapped-up in the preparations for Christmas and leave the most important aspect of the holiday out, which is Christ.
My Husband and I are working-on making our Christmas holiday celebrations more simple, less hectic, while focusing upon the true meaning of Christmas, which is the birth of Christ.
Thank you for stopping by my blog the other day and leaving a kind comment. It is a pleasure to "meet" you. :)

Amen! Jesus truly is the Reason for the season and we don't ever want to forget that!
ReplyDeleteI tried to respond to your email but you have it set to no-reply blogger so I couldn't reply to it. The only way you can change that is by changing the setting on your blog profile, I believe.
Anyway, I went ahead and linked up for you. If you could tell me the trouble you were having I can walk you through it!
