This Week On WholeHearted Home

Many of you ladies are like me and you are hustling and bustling about each day. Slow down. Take time to be thankful for all that God has done for you. It doesn't take long to slip away from the mindset of gratitude!!

Since you have taken my advice to slow down, why not stop long enough to read the two posts I put up this week?? They are from my heart to yours. 

I have been humbled at how many ladies have 'followed' me this week!! Stop over at my Facebook page and see what is going on. Sometimes I post something extra!!

Just in case you think that I haven't included your blog button, check out  my Bloggie Love page at the top. It was on the sidebar but that proved difficult as my blog keeps growing. I update it frequently.

I have been Pinning Pinteresting posts lately so check out my boards!!

So far, the Lord has made it possible for me read all your posts each week. They are such a blessing. I don't end up with time to be polite and notify you when you are featured. You'll just have to stop by!!

"Dog Days" of Summer! WHHW LINKUP #29

'Dog Days' of Summer

I'm looking forward to the 'dog days' of summer, aren't you?? This is Malka and she is camera shy and feeling dejected. She runs away whenever she sees me with my camera but today she couldn't escape so easily. She kept going behind the rocking chairs on my front porch and putting her head behind them. Yes, that is snow on her head and NO she does NOT come inside!! And NO, I am not particularly a 'dog person' of big huge dogs. I did think you would like a glimpse into my life? I am looking forward to feeling warm and even hot instead of shivering!!

I am looking forward to summer but I am looking forward to the return of Jesus even more!!

I am sorry that there are no favorites this week. I like to read down through every post...and I will...but this has been an interesting week with two baby granddaughters being born!! I have been to see them (and my daughter) four times. That isn't easy as the hospital is an hour away!!

Needless to say, I am bleary eyed. 

I am working on my blog, so please have patience with me. There is soo much I haven't learned yet about blogging!!

Blogging on my Knees & WholeHearted Home LINKUP

I started blogging about a year-and-a-half-ago and have found it to be the most encouraging outlet in my life. Somehow, when you give to others through writing your thoughts down on a screen, there is such a blessing in the sharing.

I want you ladies to know that I started with two 'followers'. Two of my children who had encouraged me to blog. 

There may not be more than a handful of sweet readers as often we are drawn to another blog and another more successful and greater than the last. A blog where things are shared 'just right' and with unique wording. 

What I want you ladies who faithfully read my blog to know, is that I want to glorify God through blogging. I want to blog for Christ and secondarily for you.
